Our university has established an awards system to recognize students who are working hard in a variety of activities, including academics, extracurricular activities, social activities, and obtaining qualifications, with the aim of increasing student motivation.
President's Award and Dean's Award
This award is intended to recognize students who have achieved outstanding results in various activities.
*No scholarships or other benefits will be provided.
President's Award
This award is given to individuals or groups who have made outstanding achievements in academic, cultural, sports, or other fields while enrolled at the university, and who are recognized as having contributed to enhancing the reputation of the university both nationally and internationally. The award is presented at the graduation ceremony of the student (or, in the case of a group, the student who belongs to the group).
Dean's Award
This award is given to individuals or organizations that meet any of the following criteria:
Those who are deemed to have met any of the following criteria in their academic research activities:
- If you receive an award from a national academic society
- If the work is highly evaluated by a similar academic society
Those who are deemed to have met any of the following criteria in extracurricular activities:
- When participating in a national competition, exhibition, performance, etc. and winning one of the top three prizes (or an equivalent prize).
- If a person participates in a competition held in the Kanto region or a joint competition held in multiple regions including the Kanto region, and wins the top class (including an equivalent prize).
- The above competitions must have passed through regional qualifying rounds (including prefectural tournaments)
A person who is deemed to have met any of the following criteria in social activities:
- When significant volunteer activities are recognized
- If the case contributes to saving lives, preventing crime, or preventing disasters
- Other cases where a student group has determined that the student deserves an award and the president approves.
