KYOAI GAKUEN UNIVERSITY (hereafter referred to as Maebashi International University) is committed to community-based human resource development and industry-academia collaboration. As part of this, Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd. and Maebashi International University are hosting a workshop aimed at solving social issues through the use of technology. Continuing from 2020, this workshop kicked off in October, where students learned about and deepened their understanding of Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd.'s cutting-edge technology. Afterwards, students in each group continued to explore various ways to utilize Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd.'s technology in combination with challenges facing the local community and modern society. In December, an interim report session was held, where students presented the ideas they had developed to Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd. employees and refined their ideas.
At the final presentation on Monday, February 9th, the participants will present the results of their studies, and will receive awards and comments from Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd. based on the idea's social significance, product or service value, originality and novelty, feasibility, presentation technique and persuasiveness, etc.
Therefore, we will be holding the final presentation of the aforementioned workshop as follows, which we believe will be of great significance in terms of contributing to the local community through this industry-academia collaboration. We would be grateful if you could cover the event.
