Miyuko Tsukui, a second-year student in the School Education course at our university, has been selected to represent Japan at the Asian Youth Netball Championship to be held in South Korea.
On Monday, June 23rd, we paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Ogawa Akira at Maebashi City Hall.

Chikui expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "Netball is a sport that can be played by anyone, regardless of age or gender, as it only requires passing and shooting. It is still a minor sport, so I hope it will become more popular."
Mayor Ogawa gave words of encouragement, saying, "I hope that more people will know that there is a Japanese representative in Maebashi, and that this will lead to the spread of the sport."
We also received several other questions about netball, and the event proceeded in a relaxed atmosphere.

We would appreciate your warm support for Chikui-san.
