Overseas training at our university
At KYOAI, 120 students participate in overseas training each year, or about 1 in 3.5 students, before graduating.
Our overseas training programs are divided into the following four categories:

Cross-cultural training
This training program will allow participants to experience the cultures of Thailand, Taiwan, and Poland, deepening their understanding of different cultures. Through interactions with local communities, it will be a valuable opportunity to learn about diverse values and broaden their international perspectives. The international course also includes fieldwork in various countries.

In the first half, students will explore Bangkok and visit Koh Samui and Ayutthaya, and in the second half, they will engage in cultural exchange with local students at Kasetsart University, our partner university, to develop a multifaceted international perspective. |
| Taiwan cross-cultural training About 2 weeks | Accommodation: Hotel/student dormitory Departure:Early May cost: Approximately 25 million yen | The program will take the Shinkansen from Taipei to Tainan, where students will spend the first half of the day engaging in cultural exchange with local students at Chang Yung University, a partner university of the program, and the second half visiting New Taipei City's Jing Wu University of Science and Technology to foster student exchange. The program will also include free time throughout the day during the program, allowing students to explore the area as they please. |
| Poland training About 2 weeks | Accommodation: Hotel Departure: Departure in August cost: Approximately 50 million yen | This two-week training program in Poland will provide an opportunity to reflect on peace and history in Eastern European societies. Participants will visit Warsaw's Old Town and the World Heritage site of Auschwitz. Furthermore, there will be opportunities for interaction and collaborative learning with local stakeholders. |

Language Training
This training program provides participants with the opportunity to study languages in English-speaking, Korean-speaking, Chinese-speaking, and French-speaking countries. Through practical learning on-site, participants will not only improve their language skills but also deepen their understanding of different cultures. This training program will help participants develop a global perspective through valuable overseas experience, which can be utilized in their future careers.

| Japan | One-on-One Online Training | Learn English online one-on-one with an overseas instructor. Choose the instructor that's right for you from over 100 instructors 24 hours a day. The course lasts for two months and costs 5,000 yen. |

Skills improvement training
This training program will enable participants to gain a wide range of practical experience, including a practical program in which they work as a team to solve missions given to them by Japanese companies, activities in collaboration with the Ministry of Education to teach Japanese culture in English at local elementary schools, and work in import operations and assisting with training at Japanese companies.

Through this process, participants will increase their understanding of different cultures and develop their independence, proactiveness, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. |
| Overseas Educational Training (Australia: Adelaide / 3 weeks) | Accommodation: Homestay, condominium, etc. Departure:middle of February cost: Approximately 70 million yen | This is a three-week teaching practice program under an agreement with the South Australian Department of Education. In the first week, students learn about the Australian education situation from local instructors, and in the second and third weeks, they conduct mock lessons in English at a public elementary school on the theme of Japanese culture. This program is recommended for students who wish to become teachers. |
| Long-term overseas internship (Thailand: Bangkok / 3-4 months) | Accommodation: Condominium Departure:middle of February cost: Approximately 10 million yen | This is an internship in which you will work in marketing and sales at a Japanese subsidiary in Bangkok, Thailand for three months from October to December. Since you will be working at a startup company, you will be able to work closely with the management and develop your independence, ability to execute, and ability to adapt to different cultures. Accommodation expenses are free. |

Exchange student
This program offers exchange opportunities to countries such as China, Taiwan, Poland, and Thailand. While studying at a local university, you can come into contact with diverse cultures and values and broaden your international perspective. Through cross-cultural exchange, you can also expect to improve your language skills and communication abilities.
