To all of you who are pioneering a new era
KYOAI GAKUEN UNIVERSITY has launched its "Faculty of Co-Innovation." For over 25 years, our university has grown as a university that lives in harmony with the local community, operating as a single faculty and department, the creation of a new faculty represents a significant change. Why is a new faculty necessary now? Because new academic fields are necessary to pioneer the future.
The word "digital" in the "Faculty of Co-Innovation" encompasses information technology, communication technology, and cutting-edge technology, which form the foundation of our information society. In today's society, new products and services utilizing new technologies are created every day, changing our lives. We want to share with you the learning that will transform society by creating such products and services. To achieve this, the new faculty brings together a diverse faculty, from researchers active in local communities to researchers who are driving change on a global scale.
The term "co-creation" has two meanings. First, it represents our desire to cultivate individuals who can collaborate with others and create new value. New products and services using technology cannot be created alone. Through our university's PBL (Project-Based Learning) and team exercises, we hope you will become people who learn together with others and create value together with others.
The second meaning is our wish that you become someone who can embody our university's philosophy of "loving and living together" even in the fields of cutting-edge technology. In this faculty, we believe that technology exists to make people happy. Using various technologies to make our health, lives, society, and our lives themselves happier—that is the kind of person who can create a "well-being society," which is also the objective of this faculty.
The lessons you need to create a new era are here.
