Health care

Our university provides health management services to help students live healthy and fulfilling student lives.
We also provide consultations for parents regarding their students' health. Please feel free to contact us.

School nurse and doctor

A qualified, full-time school nurse is assigned to the health room.
We also provide first aid for injuries and illnesses, and offer consultations for mental and physical concerns.
We also maintain contact with three school physicians: an internist, an obstetrician-gynecologist, and a psychiatrist, to create an environment where appropriate advice can be given.

Infectious diseases

If you contract a school-related infectious disease,CLICK HEREPlease report further.
If you are infected with a school-related infectious disease (source: Suspension of Attendance Due to School-Related Infectious Diseases PDF), you will be suspended from attendance in accordance with the School Health and Safety Act and the Enforcement Regulations of the School Health and Safety Act. Please report the infection using the report form as soon as it becomes known that you have been infected.
Within one week of recovery, submit a notice of absence from work to the Student Center along with a certificate certifying that you were infected. (The notice of absence from work is available at the Student Center.)*Submission of a notice of absence is optional.
The certificate is a school attendance permit, recovery certificate, or medical certificate that shows that the student has contracted an infectious disease and lists the date of medical examination, the period of absence from school, and the name of the hospital (preferably the doctor's name).

About vaccine-preventable diseases

Medical checkup

Health checkups are conducted by grade level during orientation at the beginning of the school year.
This data is managed on a computer and can be automatically issued as a health certificate for use in job hunting and other activities.
In addition, you can have your height, weight, blood pressure, etc. measured at any time in the health center. Please use this to help manage your health.

Health Mini Guide

Upon enrollment, all students are given a "Health Mini Guide" to read when they are in trouble.
This booklet includes easy cooking recipes for beginners, as well as information on illness and injury, harassment, mental health, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, etc.

Pre-study abroad guidance

Before students go on study abroad or training abroad, we provide them with sufficient individual guidance and consultation based on a pre-training orientation and health questionnaire.

AED

AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) are installed on campus in case of emergencies.
Every year, we hold a first aid seminar. Come experience and learn how to use an AED in case of an emergency.
